Case Summary:
The client that North America Immigration Law Group had the opportunity to work with in this case was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from Iran. His work has focused specifically on diabetic retinopathy and age-related eye diseases. We successfully demonstrated that his continued employment in the field would benefit those in his field, as well as the citizens of the United States at large. In order for our client’s case to be successful, we submitted extensive documentation proving his highly significant contributions to his field, including 3 peer-reviewed journal articles and numerous conference papers. His publications had been cited at least 57 times at the time we filed the case; nearly all of the citations were by independent researchers around the world, demonstrating that these publications are widely recognized and relied upon in the field. The importance of his work was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “Research in therapeutic treatments for diabetes is advancing rapidly, but there is still much to learn about the intricate cellular processes that occur in blood vessels and protein interactions.
