In this case, the client that we had the opportunity to work with was a postdoctoral researcher from China in the field of molecular pharmacology. Specifically, our client’s research has focused on drug discovery for metabolic diseases, including liver disease, diabetes, and hypertension, as well as on the discovery of new therapeutic targets for treating both metabolic diseases and cancer. Her work had resulted in 10 peer-reviewed scientific articles and numerous presentations at national and international conferences; at the time that her case was filed, her publications had been cited at least 143 times by independent and leading researchers from prestigious institutions and organizations around the world, indicating the major significance of her work. She had also reviewed 35 manuscripts for distinctive, internationally-circulated journals.
