Client’s Testimonial:

Thanks very much for your efforts in the I-140 preparation. I'm very satisfied and would be very glad to recommend you to my friends and in the immigration forum.

On April 22, 2015, We Received another EB1-A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) Approval for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Field of Chemical Engineering (Approval Notice)

General Field: Chemical Engineering
Position at the Time of Case Filing: Postdoctoral Research Associate
Country of Origin: China
Service Center: Texas Service Center (TSC)
State of Residence at the Time of Filing: Oklahoma
Approval Notice Date: April 22, 2015

Case Summary:
In this case, the client that we had the opportunity to work with was a post-doctoral research associate from China in the field of chemical engineering. Specifically, his specialized research has focused on the design, synthesis, and application of electrochemical sensors, polymer materials, and heterogeneous/bi-functional catalysts for biomass conversion into fuels and chemicals. His work had resulted in 26 peer-reviewed scientific articles, 1 patent, and numerous presentations at national and international conferences; at the time that his case was filed, his publications had been cited at least 401 times by independent and leading researchers from prestigious institutions and organizations around the world, indicating the major significance of his work. He had also reviewed 24 manuscripts for at least 7 distinctive, internationally-circulated journals. His superior level of expertise was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “[Client’s] innovations have allowed alternative fuel sources to be quickly and inexpensively created, enhancing the rate at which they are adopted to replace environmentally harmful fossil fuels, thereby reducing anthropogenic impact. Additionally, [client] provided the first ever demonstration of acid sties found on metal surfaces, which accounts for the Rhodium-Rhenium catalysts bifunctional capabilities for dehydration of oxygenates and hydrogenation reactions.” It was our goal to prove that our client qualified for classification as an Alien of Extraordinary Ability given that he sought to remain in the United States to continue work in the area of extraordinary ability, and that his continued research would substantially and prospectively benefit the United States. With the proof and documentation that we provided, his case was approved in 22 days.

*The number of approval notice for EB1B cases is under-estimated of the total EB1B cases we successfully petitioned because many EB1B employer petitioners did not submit G-28 and we are not the attorney on the record.
*In 2014, one of our EB1B cases (regular service) was denied based on an inaccurate adjudication. The case was approved shortly after we re-filed the petition.
*The approval rate statistics only include cases that were originally filed by our law firm and exclude RFE cases that were taken over in the middle from other law firms or DIY clients.
