Case Summary:
Largely thanks to Premium Processing (PP), this postdoctoral research fellow from China received an EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) approval in just 20 days. It would have taken him between 4-9 months to receive an approval notice had he not upgraded his case to PP—which our legal team did on his behalf a week after it was initially filed.
North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) worked diligently to put together a strong EB-1A petition packet for our client. Plenty of attention to detail was paid, and the resulting petition was composed of a myriad of information related to our client’s various academic and professional triumphs. These included the 207 citations to his work, his 8 published papers, and the 50 times he assessed the work of his peers for high impact scientific journals.
Our petition packet also contained six recommendation letters provided by other prominent pharmacologists, all of whom had either worked with our client or had used his research findings to advance their own investigations. One of our client’s recommenders had this to say about his work: “Clearly, his work has proven to be so essential to the development of further progress in signaling mechanisms that it is already being used to develop new drugs. [Client’s] work is also important to cell and molecular biology […] I believe that it is in the best interest of the U.S. to maintain his presence in the country so as to ensure the use of his talents for growth of this sector. All these facts affirm [Client’s] place as one of the most significant contributors to his field in recent history, and suggest his ability to continually produce vastly impactful work.”
Final Step in the Green Card Process:
The final step towards a green card involves filing an I-485 application. We recently filed these applications for our client and his spouse, and we join them as they eagerly await a favorable outcome from the USCIS. We would like to thank our client for selecting our firm to represent his case, and we wish him well as he continues to progress his field of pharmacology.
