Case Summary:
A postdoctoral fellow from China hired North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) to file an EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition on his behalf. Our client’s research focuses on better understanding the mechanisms behind a number of autoimmune diseases such as vasculitis, lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, as well as osteoarthritis and allergy. As his immigration attorney, we were tasked with compiling and submitting a persuasive EB-1A petition packet to the USCIS, which we did skillfully and effectively.
The USCIS spent close to seven months reviewing this case before granting their approval. We raised a service request on our client’s behalf when the average processing time went beyond the norm, allowing him to focus completely on his research endeavors.
Our client’s Ph.D. in Histopathology and extensive research experience place him in the upper echelons of biomedicine. We demonstrated that his work is of great value to the United States and that halting his research efforts in the country would have detrimental consequences on the nation.
EB-1A Petition Packet:
In preparing our EB1A petition, we prompted our client to contact other experts in his field for recommendation letters. He managed to obtain six letters which we included in our petition packet. They served as further proof that our client’s investigations are essential to the country. Here are several excerpts:
“[Client] has already demonstrated that he possesses special skills of value to the United States. By remaining in this country, he will be able to utilize his knowledge and talent to the fullest extent possible, and contribute significantly to the health of U.S. citizens.”
“This letter is in support of [Client], who I know as an outstanding scientist and expert in the area of leukemia and epigenetics. […] His accomplishments are practically unrivaled in this field, and I hold him to the highest standard of scientific excellence, as I am sure all other scientists familiar with his work do, as well.”
“…The featuring of [Client’s] outstanding research within some of the world’s most highly respected periodicals confirms his standing as one of the globe’s most capable and reliable experts in the field of immunology.”
Besides strong recommendation letters, our EB-1A petition also constituted detailed accounts of our client’s professional triumphs: the 224 citations gathered from his 15 published papers, and the 15 times he conducted peer reviews for a handful of well-known scientific journals.
Petition Approval:
Our client’s solid credentials and our meticulous presentation played a role in this EB-1A petition approval. We accompany him in celebrating this momentous occasion.
