Case Summary:
This EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) case involved a gifted research scientist from China. She contracted North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) to put together a convincing EB1A petition packet for her.
We worked diligently to amass as much information as we could on our client’s various achievements. Considering her extensive experience in the field of cancer pharmacology, she had already gained plenty of recognition for her findings when she approached us for help. We detailed the 176 citations to her work and her 14 published journal papers. We also documented the nearly two dozen times she judged the work of her peers for scientific journals.
Our experience presenting persuasive EB-1A petitions to the USCIS has taught us the value of third-party opinions and thus, we prompted our client to reach out to other cancer pharmacologists for strong recommendation letters. Six experts agreed to lend their support, one of whom firmly stated that “The findings of [Client's] study are widely regarded as vastly beneficial to the development of alternative cancer treatments.” Another recommender wrote, “The advancements offered by this study would not have been possible if not for the expertise of [Client], and it is clear that her continued work in the field is not simply desirable, but is an absolute necessity.” These letters further fortified our case and undoubtedly lent a hand in case approval.
Premium Processing (PP):
Approximately two weeks after we filed the EB-1A petition on our client’s behalf, she chose to upgrade her case to be adjudicated under Premium Processing (PP). Although it costs more, PP allows for rapid adjudication (the USCIS must take action on PP cases within 15 days) and significantly cuts down the overall wait time. In this case, our client received an approval notice from the USCIS a week after the upgrade.
As the cherry on top of the cake, our client received her green card several days ago. We would like to congratulate her on attaining American permanent residency, and we thank her for selecting our law firm to help her achieve this goal.
