Case Summary:
A Chinese postdoctoral research fellow who holds a doctorate in electrical engineering, hired North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) to help him attain a green card via EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability). We demonstrated to the USCIS that his work on signal and information processing, with its application in biomedical engineering, is crucial to the United States. Thanks to Premium Processing, the USCIS only spent four days adjudicating this case before they granted their approval.
Our well-worded EB-1A petition dossier was composed of information on our client’s 38 publications and the 266 citations that they had gathered at the time of filing, as well as the 70 times he assessed the work of other electrical engineers. The dossier also contained five recommendation letters that our client obtained from other experts in his field. One of these letters stated that “… [Client] has greatly advanced the field of electrical engineering in regards to signal and information processing. His accomplishments indicate that, without a doubt, his continued presence and research in the U.S. are of great benefit to the American video and pop culture industries, as his work is critical for intellectual property rights.”
We are pleased that our client’s strong credentials and our diligent efforts played a role in convincing the USCIS that this EB-1A case deserved to be approved. We congratulate our client on this milestone and wish him the best with his research endeavors.
