Case Summary:

The USCIS spent a little over three months reviewing this EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) case before granting their approval. The petitioner is a M.D. holder whose specialty lies in the field of neuroscience. North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreeened.com) worked diligently to put together a strong petition packet demonstrating the value of our client’s investigations to the United States.
We advised our client to obtain recommendation letters from several experts in her field. The letters that she gathered were included in our EB-2 NIW petition packet. One of these letters stated, in part, that “Without individuals such as [Client], our campaign to understand the world’s rarest disorders is severely stunted. Her expertise and excellent scientific intuition are virtually unparalleled in the field of neurology, and I believe she represents the highest caliber of academic researchers.” We supplemented these letters with concrete evidence proving that not many other researchers in our client’s line of work are as accomplished as she is. For instance, we documented the 220 citations that her 10 publications had gathered at the time of filing as well as detailed summaries of her research on nerve degeneration and neuropathy.
We are pleased that our well-balanced presentation convinced the USCIS that our client’s EB-2 NIW case deserved approval. This approval notice is an encouraging display of our law firm’s expert capabilities to bring our clients a step closer to American permanent residency.
