Case Summary:
Although our client did not have an advanced degree when we filed her EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) case, she had five years of progressive experience in her field of molecular genetics. This was enough to prove to the USCIS that she is an invaluable presence in her field and that her findings are of value to other researchers. Her development of novel tools and models for studying adipocyte biology, as well as identification of a novel enzyme in Escherichia coli has enabled her to contribute to genetics and medicine, two fields that are of substantial importance to the United States health sector and overall economy.
A specialist in the field, whose letter we included in our EB-2 NIW petition to the USCIS, had this to say about our client: “[Client] is an exceptionally capable, and intellectually gifted individual who has made major contributions to our studies on obesity and its treatment. I am confident that her broad and impressive range of capabilities will lead to many additional important contributions to science and medicine in the years to come.” Several other specialists voiced their support through recommendation letters, which we also included in our petition packet. These were supplemented by details on our client’s 61 citations to her 2 publications.
We are pleased that our meticulous presentation played a role in the approval of our client’s EB-2 NIW petition. North America Immigration Law Group would like to take this opportunity to wish our client all the best in her continued investigations.
