General Field: Internal Medicine
Position at the Time of Case Filing: Gastroenterology Fellow
Country of Origin: India
Service Center: Nebraska Service Center (NSC)
State of Residence at the Time of Filing: Minnesota
Processing Time: 12 days (Premium Processing requested)
Case Summary:
Our client’s many years of research on improving the patient safety, quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness of patient care in the areas of diagnostic radiation exposure, medication errors, organ transplantation, and cancer prevention laid the foundation for a strong EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) case. Thanks to Premium Processing, the USCIS granted their approval a mere 12 days after we submitted the petition.
As part of our services, we summarized our client’s numerous accomplishments and put together a comprehensive petition dossier that highlighted the value of his work to the United States. For instance, we documented the 226 citations that his 14 publications had amassed, and noted the 26 times he lent his expertise to high impact journals by conducting peer reviews. We also urged our client to appeal for recommendation letters from experts in his field of internal medicine. The letters that he obtained were included in our carefully worded petition packet. According to one of his recommenders: “With the need for donor organs continually rising, it is clear that [Client’s] research is going to be important to contribute to the wellbeing of the citizens of the United States for years to come.”
We are glad that our client, a gastroenterology fellow from India, chose to retain our I-485 services to assist himself and his wife with the second and final step of the green card process. North America Immigration Law Group looks forward to helping them obtain permanent residency.
