Case Summary:

“His excellence in practical and applied science is crucial to electronics development and I do not think [Client] could be replaced were he not able to continue with his incredible research.”
This statement is excerpted from a recommendation letter offered in support of our client’s EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) petition. It was contributed by a prominent professor working in the field of organic chemistry. Four other experts attested to the value of our client’s research through similar letters of recommendation.
Our client, a chemical hygiene officer, laser safety officer, and environmental management analytical chemist from Taiwan, holds a doctorate in organic chemistry. He also possesses many years of experience researching new methods to detect mercury in the parts per billion range using a Nippon EMP-2 instrument, identifying barrier materials for use in copper interconnects in microelectronic devices, and synthesizing triangular mixed-metal clusters, among other things. He has also published 16 scientific journal articles that had amassed 69 citations at the time of filing. His extensive experience qualified him for the national interest waiver, and we meticulously demonstrated it to the USCIS by composing an in-depth EB-2 NIW petition packet proving the value of his work to the United States.
The USCIS granted their approval a little over three months after North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) filed the case on our client’s behalf. This approval is another encouraging example of our firm’s excellence at helping our clients get a step closer to permanent residency. We recently filed an I-485 application for our client and we wish him the best in obtaining his green card.
