Case Summary:

A well-known professor in the field of materials science contributed a recommendation letter in favor of our client’s EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition. His letter stated, in part, that “[Client] stands out as superior in the study of graphene due in no small part to his foundational research on its properties.” Three other experts in the field lent their support and contributed similar letters, all of which North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) included in the comprehensive EB-1A petition packet that we were hired to produce and submit to the USCIS.
Our petition packet also contained evidence of our client’s impressive professional experience. For instance, we noted the 24 times he judged the work of his peers by offering his insights on their research manuscripts. We also detailed the 2488 citations that had been amassed from his 30 peer-reviewed scientific articles and one presentation at an international conference. This information was used to illustrate our client’s high standing in his field of materials science and that not many other researchers can mirror his accomplishments. Furthermore, we thoroughly described our client’s development of atomically thin devices for electronics, optoelectronics, and biosensors, and demonstrated that his work positively impacts multiple sectors in the United States such as the natural gas industry and household temperature control.
Because our client chose to file his case under Premium Processing (an option only available for EB-1 cases), the immigration officers at NSC only spent 13 days reviewing his case. We congratulate our client on receiving his approval notice from the USCIS. Our legal team recently helped our client and his spouse file their I-485 applications, and we look forward to the approval of their permanent residency.
