Case Summary:

A senior applications developer from India retained North America Immigration Law Group to help him navigate the perplexing green card process. We recently filed an EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition on his behalf. Our client’s M.Sc. and M.B.A. have prepared him for an illustrious career in the field of bioinformatics, where he is conducting research on the genetics and epigenetics of psychiatric disorders—particularly post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)—as well as cancer treatments and pre-term birth.
Our EB-1A petition dossier was comprised of our client’s extensive peer review experience, his contributions as an editor of a high impact journal, and his 15 publications that have gathered over 600 citations. We also incorporated five recommendation letters contributed by specialists in his field. According to one of these experts, “The imitation of [Client’s] research designs, as well as the widespread use of his software tool, has propelled him to the forefront of the field of bioinformatics […] Without him, the fields of epigenetics and bioinformatics would most certainly not have made the gains they have in the past few years.” Our thorough petition packet demonstrated the importance of our client’s work to the United States and that halting it in any way will be detrimental to the nation.
Because our client opted for Premium Processing, the USCIS issued an approval notice a week after we filed his EB-1A petition. He has recently retained our services to file an I-485 application. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our client for selecting our firm to represent his case.
