Success Stories: NIW Petition Approved for Postdoctoral Associate from Iran in the Field of Supramolecular Chemistry

Client’s Testimonial:
“Thanks for the great news […] I would recommend you to as many people as I can.”

On February 4th, 2016, we received another EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) approval for a Postdoctoral Associate in the Field of Supramolecular Chemistry (Approval Notice).

Case Summary:

It only took the USCIS a month and a half to adjudicate this EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) petition. Our client, a postdoctoral associate from Iran, is active in the field of supramolecular chemistry. His work focuses on using methods in chemistry and materials engineering to study the behavior of supramolecular systems and to develop cutting-edge nanoparticles for medicine.
The petition we prepared for our client was composed of accounts of his research projects, his citation record (which at the time of filing stood at a dozen citations), and his 2 publications. All of this was supplemented by a copy of his doctoral degree, his transcripts, and six recommendation letters contributed by other influential scientists in his field. One of these experts wrote, “Without his diligent work, our understanding of supramolecular chemistry would not have progressed to its current state, and we continue to rely upon his insight into guest/host interactions and the skills he has developed today. Considering the value presented by the application of his research, halting [Client’s] research would certainly be harmful to progress in chemical research.”
We are glad that our solid demonstration of the value of our client’s work to the United States lent a hand in his I-140 approval. He is now one step closer to obtaining his green card, and we wish him the very best.
