Case Summary:

“Water is a basic human need. Water resources management influences various factors related to development, including agriculture, education, energy, health, gender equity, and economics. Thus, [Client’s] work is inherently valuable, as it leads to improvements in water quality while also reducing excessive water use.”
The statement above partly sums up the focus of our client’s research as well as its importance to the United States. It is taken from a recommendation letter contributed by an expert working in our client’s field of civil engineering. This letter, and several others that our client obtained, was included in the comprehensive EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) petition dossier that North America Immigration Law Group put together. This packet also contained all the relevant information on our client’s many accomplishments: her Master of Science in Agricultural Engineering from a top institution in her home country of Iran, 38 citations gathered from her 7 publications, and years of experience improving water quality forecasting methods and examining conjunctive water use planning in an irrigation command area. Her strong credentials made her a suitable candidate to file her I-140 under the EB-2 NIW category.
The USCIS spent less than six months adjudicating her I-140 before they granted their approval. We recently filed an I-485 (final step in the permanent residency process) application for our client, and we wish her the best in obtaining her green card.
