Case Summary:

In this case, a postdoctoral research associate from China hired North America Immigration Law Group to file an EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) petition on his behalf. Our client’s Ph.D. in Nutritional Science, his 10 published journal articles, and 66 citations to his work made him a suitable candidate for the national interest waiver. His work lies in the interdisciplinary field of molecular biology, intestinal physiology, and human nutrition, and focuses on the molecular mechanisms controlling copper transport, systemic iron homeostasis, and muscle stem cells, as well as the epigenetic characteristics of brown and beige adipose tissue.
As part of our legal services, we helped our client select experts in his field who could contribute recommendation letters. Six experts agreed to lend their support and their letters were included in our meticulously prepared EB-2 NIW petition. One of these experts stated that “[Client] has already contributed to considerable advances that have proved instrumental to the success of many of his fellow researchers, and due to these achievements, I am certain that he will remain at the forefront of his field and continue to make additional contributions to the health sector of the United States.” We demonstrated that our client’s research enhances biomedical knowledge affecting health and nutritional status and that his efforts are contributing to the United States public health and nutrition industries.
We are pleased that our dedicated efforts played a role in the approval of our client’s NIW petition. We congratulate him on this milestone and wish him the best with his continued investigations.
