Case Summary:

A research assistant from Iran engaged the services of North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) to help her obtain a green card. With an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and 173 citations to her work, she had strong credentials to qualify for EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver). Our client chose to file her I-485 while her I-140 was pending (there are two steps to getting a green card: I-140 petition and I-485 application). She recently received the good news that her I-140 petition had been approved after nearly four months of adjudication, and a month later, news of her I-485 application approval followed suit.
Our well-thought-out EB-2 NIW petition packet played a role in the rapid adjudication. We diligently accounted for our client’s research projects on the application of critical and analytical skills to modern engineering difficulties, such as tissue regeneration for use in the treatment of various debilitating diseases, or ionic fluid use in natural gas purification. We also demonstrated the significance of her work to the United States medical community and the nation’s struggle for energy independence. In addition to these things, we also included four recommendation letters that our client gathered from experts in her field of biochemical engineering. One of these recommenders attested to the value of our client’s research by writing, “Stem cell research provides one of the greatest opportunities in modern science […] allows for treatment of degenerative diseases such as arthritis, diabetes, Parkinson's, and even heart disease. Research is even now being conducted on stem cell's viability in regenerating limbs, organs and human tissue. Given the magnitude of these developments, and their long-term effects on the health of American citizens, it is crucial that these innovations remain constant.”
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our client on receiving her green card, and to thank her for placing her complete trust in our firm to help her get it.
