This quote is taken from a recommendation letter volunteered by a well-known professor in the field of electrical engineering. This letter, and several others that our client obtained, was included in the well-balanced EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition packet that we submitted to the USCIS on our client’s behalf. This packet also contained information on our client’s 9 published journal articles, the 171 citations to his work, and the 110 instances he assessed the work of other electrical engineers. Our client, who obtained his Ph.D. in Physical Electronics from an institution in his birth country of China, is conducting research on photonic/plasmonic nanostructures and advances solar energy technologies.
In large part because our client chose to file his case under Premium Processing, the USCIS granted their approval just 11 days later. Even so, we have no doubt that our thorough demonstration of the significance of our client’s work to the United States played a role in the case approval. We would like to congratulate our client on this milestone and we wish him well with his I-485 application (final step in the green card process).
