Case Summary:

North America Immigration Law Group was recently hired by a research associate to file an EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition on his behalf. Our client, who obtained his Ph.D.in Physics from his birth country of China, is well known for his work on high-energy nuclear collisions and what can be learned from them about the nature of the universe. We diligently put together an EB-1A petition dossier that proved our client’s work is essential to maintaining the status of the United States as the world leader in fundamental science.
Our I-140 petition packet also included information on our client’s peer review experience and the 2360 independent citations to his 65 papers. In addition to that, we also presented four recommendation letters written by other influential physicists. One of them stated that “I can attest that without his useful research, the field of physics would be significantly hindered.” After our client decided to upgrade his I-140 to Premium Processing, the USCIS responded with an approval notice two weeks later. Overall, our client only had to wait 23 days for the USCIS to make a decision on his case.
We are pleased that our thorough presentation played a significant role in this EB-1A case approval. We congratulate our client on this milestone and wish him the best in his continued investigations.
