Case Summary:

A visiting research scholar from Iran recently received news of her EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) petition approval. Our client works in the field of organic chemistry and develops novel polymers for various purposes, including drug delivery. North America Immigration Law Group proved that these new polymeric nanoparticles are used as carriers of drugs and other substances throughout the human body, and that they impact the overall health of Americans.
As part of our legal services, we advised our client to seek out recommendation letters from expert organic chemists to support her EB-2 NIW petition. One letter said, in part, “Across this and other projects, [Client] has evinced an elite expertise in conducting chemical syntheses, modifications, and evaluations. By developing these specific skills as a [biochemist], she has become peerless and invaluable.” We used this letter, and several others, to demonstrate that only a handful of other scientists can attain such meritorious results. We also included data on the 48 citations that our client’s 12 publications had gathered, as well as a copy of her doctoral degree.
The USCIS approved our client’s EB-2 NIW petition after just 37 days. We are confident that our thorough presentation and firm establishment of the significance of our client’s research to the United States played a role in the rapid adjudication. We thank our client for choosing us to represent her case and wish her all the best in her continued investigations.
