Case Summary:
A senior research fellow from India recently hired North America Immigration Law Group to help him file an EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition. His 666 independent citations, 40 published papers and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering made him a very good candidate to file his case under this particular EB1 category. The 10 instances in which he judged the work of other scientists in his field were also included in the I-140 petition packet that we carefully prepared.
Our client, who is working in the field of bioengineering, conducts research on the design of nanoscale scaffolds and matrices for use in tissue engineering. The legal team at North America Immigration Law Group worked hard to convince the USCIS that our client’s creation of nanostructures on which cells can be cultured is of significant value to the United States.
In addition to explaining our client’s research to the USCIS, we also helped him contact several other influential bioengineers who were willing to support his EB-1A petition. These experts contributed recommendation letters that highlighted our client’s work in the field. They also illustrated the relevance of his work to not just the country, but to other scientists around the world. One of these recommenders wrote, “In conclusion, [Client] is a researcher who has given the international community of materials scientists and mechanical engineers many new innovations. His achievements in the various aspects of his professional work place him at a level far above his peers.”
We are pleased to note that our diligent work has led to the approval of our client’s EB-1A petition, and we wish him all the best in his I-485 application (the final step towards getting a green card).
