With a Ph.D. in Health Outcomes and Pharmacy Practice, and 24 citations to her 7 published papers, this associate scientist from China had all the relevant qualifications to file an I-140 under the EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) category. She selected North America Immigration Law Group to represent her case as she knew that our legal team works diligently to help every client get closer to their green card.
Our client conducts research on pharmaceutical outcomes and her methodologies allow fellow scientists to access solid data regarding the use of pharmaceutical treatments for diseases such as diabetes, hepatitis C, and age-related macular degeneration. We highlighted the fact that effective and affordable healthcare is a major concern in the United States and we demonstrated the role that our client’s research has in solving this issue. Besides carefully accounting for our client’s research projects, we also encouraged her to seek recommendation letters from experts in her field of health economics. Six experts agreed to contribute testimonials, which we included in our EB-2 NIW petition packet. One of these recommenders wrote, “I write this letter based on my belief that the continuation of [Client’s] work is vital to the advancement of our field and to the necessary strengthening of the health care sector in the United States.”
We congratulate our client on her NIW approval and we wish her the best in her continued efforts to improve public health in the United States.
